Proxa Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and YEIXIO LLC ("Yeix") for using the Proxa app. By using Proxa you agree to them and to the Proxa Privacy Policy. If you got Proxa from the App Store, Apple's standard end user license agreement also applies.

Who can use Proxa

You must be 18 or older. Proxa is free, and you don't need an account. You're responsible for what you put in your profile and what you send.

Zero tolerance for abuse

There is no tolerance on Proxa for objectionable content or abusive people. Don't use Proxa to:

  • •harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or follow anyone, or keep contacting someone who blocked you or didn't wave back
  • •approach someone whose pin says they'd rather not be approached
  • •post or send sexual, hateful, violent or discriminatory content
  • •pretend to be someone else, or use Proxa if you're under 18
  • •sexualize, groom or exploit a minor in any way (see our child safety standards)
  • •sell things, spam, or scam people
  • •break the law or help someone else do so

Anyone can block or report a person from their card or chat. Reports go to info@yeix.io and we review them within 24 hours. We act on them as far as Proxa's design allows, which can include revoking venue passes, changing the app to stop abuse, and contacting the police when someone may be in danger.

Meeting people safely

Proxa helps you notice people nearby; it doesn't check who they are. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you'll be, use the check-in timer, and leave whenever you want. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. You are responsible for your own interactions with other people, on and off Proxa.

Venues

Businesses and events can appear on Proxa as verified venues with a pass from Yeix. A pass can be revoked if it's misused. Venues must follow these terms too.

The app

Yeix gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use Proxa. Don't copy, reverse engineer or resell it, or interfere with how it works for others. Proxa depends on Bluetooth and on other people being Live nearby, so we can't promise it will always find anyone or that every message arrives.

Proxa is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Yeix isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other people you meet through Proxa, to the extent the law allows.

Ending and changes

You can stop using Proxa at any time by deleting it. We may change Proxa or these terms; if the terms change in an important way, we'll update the date above and say so in the app's release notes. Questions: info@yeix.io.
