Proxa Support

• •Confirm you're 18 or older, then add your first name, a color pin and a short note. No sign-up needed.
• •Tap Go Live and pick how long. While you're Live, other people who are Live within Bluetooth range see your card, and you see theirs.
• •Allow Bluetooth when asked. Proxa never asks for your location.
• •Nobody around yet? Tap "Try it with a sample person" to see how waving and chatting work.

• •Green means come say hi, yellow means wave first, red means just looking. People with a red pin can't be waved at.
• •Tap someone to wave. If they wave back, you can send each other short text messages.
• •Save someone as a contact after you've both waved, and Proxa tells you when they're around again.
• •Today's people and chats are cleared at the end of each day.

• •Meet in public places. Tap Tell a friend on someone's card to share who you're meeting and where.
• •Set a check-in timer. If you don't tap I'm OK in time, Proxa reminds you and helps you text a friend.
• •The emergency buttons call your local emergency number, or text your emergency contact who you're with and where. Add the contact in Your profile; it stays on your phone. Safety tips are a tap away from Nearby and every person's screen.
• •Block or report anyone from their card or chat. You won't see them again, and their waves and messages don't reach you, even if they reinstall Proxa.
• •Reporting also blocks, and opens an email to us with the details so we can follow up.
• •Proxa has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Read our child safety standards.

• •"Couldn't go Live": turn on Bluetooth and allow Proxa to use it in your phone's Settings.
• •Nobody shows up: they need to be Live too, and within about a room's distance. Check your Filters on Nearby.
• •No notifications: allow notifications for Proxa in Settings. On Android, keep Proxa's Live notification on while you're Live.
• •Couldn't wave or send: the other person may have walked out of range or stopped being Live.

Everything Proxa knows is on your phone. To erase it, open Your profile and tap Delete everything, or delete the app. Read the privacy policy and terms of use.
