Privacy policy

In short

• We collect what we need to answer you, do the work, and bill for it.
• We never sell your personal information.
• You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you at any time.

What we collect

What you give us

• Your name, email address, and phone number, and your business's name and website.
• What you tell us in a form, an email, or a call: what you need, your budget, and project details.
• The email address you use for the client portal. We email a sign-in link to it; the link works for 30 minutes and there's no password to keep.
• Billing details, entered on Stripe's pages when you pay an invoice, start a plan, or update a payment method. Stripe handles the card or bank details; we see only what's needed to bill you, such as the last four digits.

What's collected automatically

• Your device and browser, your IP address, and an approximate location.
• Pages visited, links and buttons used (for example, the phone number or a form), and how you found the site.
• Billing events from Stripe, such as a plan starting or a payment failing: amounts and statuses, kept with the Stripe customer number rather than your name or email.

How we use it

• To answer you, do the work you asked for, and support it afterwards.
• To send invoices, receipts, and reminders, and to take payments.
• To send notices about your service, such as changes, outages, or security updates.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising.
• To protect the site and our clients from spam, fraud, and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Who helps us

We don't sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run Yeix, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe: payments, invoices, receipts, and the billing page where you manage a plan.
• Mailjet: sending email from the site, such as form messages and portal sign-in links.
• PostHog: site analytics.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: site and advertising measurement.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: checking that a form was sent by a person, not a bot.
• DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services: hosting the site and its domain name.

Each has its own privacy policy. We also share information if the law requires it, if Yeix is sold or merged, or when you ask us to.

Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar storage for three things:

• Making the site work, including remembering your light or dark theme.
• Analytics (PostHog and Google Analytics), to see which pages help people.
• Advertising measurement (Google Ads), to see which ads lead to a call or a message.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site still works, though analytics won't count your visit.

Keeping it safe

The site and everything sent to it are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to client information is limited to the people doing the work, systems are kept up to date, and data is backed up. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee it, but we take reasonable care.

How long we keep it

We keep information while we're working together and as long as needed afterwards for records, taxes, and agreements. When it's no longer needed, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it, or to delete it, except where the law says we must keep it (for example, invoices).
• Ask for your information in a common format to take elsewhere.
• Stop any marketing email we send, at any time.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults, not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information. If you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date at the top. Check back from time to time.
